If the rain Friday made all those ghostly creatures in Michiana nervous, leaving them with fingers crossed for dry weather on Halloween, they can rest assured.

Well, as assured as Mother Nature might allow.

The good news is that the National Weather Service is forecasting a rainless day for today – but temperatures will be a bit chilly with temperatures around 48 degrees during the day and a high of 34 degrees tonight.

Trick or treat times for the surrounding area include:

* Niles (City & township)

6 to 7:30 p.m.

* Buchanan

6 to 7:30 p.m.

* Dowagiac

6 to 7 p.m.

* Edwardsburg

6 to 7 p.m.

Law enforcement officials in Michiana remind parents and trick-or-treaters to be safe during the holiday.
