I have never met this contractor, personally, but my husband and I built our house by ourselves with a little help/education from people that build homes for a living. After seeing, first hand, what this contractor did to the Fantetti's additions, I was appalled at the quality of work that he performed, inside and outside. We (my husband and I) did a much better job building and finishing our house-not knowing what we were doing-than this man did for them and for what he claims he does for a living. It was a waste of money and time for all involved. I can see that his intentions to build a wonderful addition to the house was there but the quality of work suffered, due to a lack of education/schooling, know how, experience, common sense, integrity and pride. It is a shame that the Fantetti's have to go through paying a real licensed contractor to fix and repair the many mistakes, this guy left behind, inside and outside of their house, at an additional expense, as in, additional out of pocket costs that were not budgeted for. I hope that the addition will at least last long enough for them to enjoy it without further problems arising in the next so many years.
