Todd C. Miller, 49, formerly of Buchanan, died at 4:48 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, following a brief illness.
Todd was born June 9, 1960 in Bridgeport, Maine to Robert E. and Joan (Clemmons) Miller. He graduated from Buchanan High School and attended Bethel College in Mishawaka.
Todd was director of Hope Network South, and on the board of Luvability Ministries.
He attended First Presbyterian Church in Niles. He enjoyed communicating with clients, friends and family by telephone and Facebook. He made people laugh.
On May 26, 2006 in Granger, he married Laura R. (Ake) Miller, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Joan C. Miller, of South Bend; a brother, Kent E. Miller, of Buchanan; a niece, Candice A. Miller-Kaplon; and his pet dog, “Beanie.”
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Miller, on Jan. 25, 2001.
Services for Todd C. Miller will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church, Niles, with the Rev. Janet Van Lear, of the church, officiating, assisted by Linda VanDyke, of Luvability Ministries.
Internment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
Contributions in memory of Todd may be made to Luvability Ministries.
