Library plans seminar
Published 12:41pm Thursday, November 19, 2009The Buchanan District Library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of Thanksgiving.
The library is hosting its November Used Book Sale Special. For every bag of non-perishable food items that you donate to the library, you may choose one bag full of books from our used book area.
Also under way is Food for Fines at the Buchanan District Library. Support RAM Love-Redbud Area Ministries from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31. For every non-perishable food item, $1 will be credited toward your fines. Donations cannot be used to cover the cost of lost items. General donations will also be accepted.
Keeping It Safe Seminar
Identity Theft in Cyber-Space – Learn how to protect your identity while using public computers. Attend this free seminar Saturday from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the Buchanan District Library. The seminar is presented by United Federal Credit Union.

Guys’ Lock-In for ages 10-17
Enjoy food, crafts, Wii and fun from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday. A signed persmission slip is required and turned in by Friday at 6 p.m. Space is limited to 30, so sign up early.
