The Vikes came out with a strong defensive start in the first quarter causing many St. Joe turnovers.

At the end of the first quarter, the Vikes led 19-3.

Gabe Stokes, David Kennedy, and Ray Glenn all scored double figures. Niles also saw good play from Adam Langmeyer, and Dalton Raymond who had eight rebounds.

The seventh grade Gold team beat St. Joe 29-25.

Leading scorers were Alex Hardy, Nick Suckle, and John Hampton.

The team played great defense once again and continues to improve as a team each and every week.

Eighth grade
The eighth grade Blue team improved to 3-0 with a 53-36 victory over visiting St. Joe Monday night.

St. Joe took a 20-19 lead into the locker room at halftime, but the Vikings used a 21-point third quarter to take a big lead they would never surrender.

Offensively the Vikings were led by Doug Freeman and Greg Jones with 17 and 15 points.

Connor Glick and Dustin Taggart did a nice job controlling the boards down low and Jamal Hinds applied steady ball pressure all night.
