Scott Jason Paintin, 34, of Niles, died at 5:55 p.m. Thursday, Nov.19, 2009 at home.
He was born April 13, 1975 in Iowa City, Iowa. He lived in Niles for more than six years. He married Sarah Paintin June 1, 2006 in Niles. He was a security officer at Memorial Hospital in South Bend and U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah; parents, Fred Harroun and Renee Martin; son, Bradlee Barker; daughters, Chelsea and Jennifer Barker; brother, Sam Harroun; sister, Joslynn Harroun.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan. Friends may call from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sarah Paintin.
