Santa to visit Ring Lardner

Ring Lardner Middle School is where Santa will be Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon. Bring the family and join Santa for all-you-can-eat waffles, sausage and beverages and get your picture taken with him. Tickets will be available at the door – $6 for adults, $3 for children 4-10 and children 3 and under are free.

Photos with Santa will be available for sale (8-by-10 is $10; 5-by-7 is one for $6 or two for $10). Carbon waffle mix will also be for sale.

The breakfast is one of several fundraisers organized by the Viking Explorers, a group of middle and high school students and teachers who are planning an educational trip to Europe in June 2010. All proceeds will be used to defray the cost of the students’ trip.
Watch for other events; the entire community is invited to attend and share in the fun while helping the Viking Explorers reach their goal.
