Partly Cloudy / 21° FRick Focht family benefit set for Feb. 20
Published 1:02pm Monday, February 8, 2010Rick Focht was diagnosed on Dec. 25, 2009 with metastatic lung cancer. After a brief fight with cancer Rick passed away Jan. 28, 2010. He leaves behind his family – his wife, Tammy Focht and his two sons, Justin and Eric Parks.
All who knew Focht are invited to a benefit Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Buchanan.
Focht was planning on being at this event but the cancer took him sooner than expected. His loved ones would still greatly appreciate all of Focht’s friends and family coming out to remember the good times they all spent with him.
The benefit includes a hog roast dinner, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, live band and a bake sale. Donations for the silent auction would be appreciated. All donations go to help Focht’s immediate family. Every little bit helps. The cost for the dinner is $8 for adults; $5 for kids 5-12 years old; and children 5 and under are free.
