Niles second at Bridgman Indoor

ST. JOSEPH – Winning seven out of the eight flight championships led St. Joseph to an easy victory in the season-opening Bridgman Indoor on Saturday at the South Shore Racquet Club.
The Bears scored 21 points to easily outdistance runner-up Niles, which finished with 12 points.
Host Bridgman was third with nine points and Lake Michigan Catholic fourth with six points.
Niles’ Rachael Horn finished second at No. 1 singles.
The Vikings also picked up second place finishes at all four doubles flights.
Lena Cramer and Allison Landgraf played at No. 1 doubles, while Meg Hein and Danielle Rothfuchs were at No. 2 doubles.
Abigail Stickey and Taylor Glick played at No. 3 doubles with Anna Benjamin and Brittany Blankenship making up the No. 4 doubles team.
