Autograph session line-up announced
Published 4:00pm Friday, July 9, 2010SOUTH BEND – The College Football Hall of Fame will partner with Memorial Hospital to present Legends Autograph Session: Tackling Breast Cancer in conjunction with the annual Enshrinement Festival Downtown Block Party on Friday at 5:30 p.m. on the Gridiron Plaza.
The returning Hall of Famers and other football legends come together for an autograph session to raise awareness and funds for Memorial Regional Breast Care Center.
The autograph session will feature 10 gridiron sensations including:
• George Bork: Hall of Fame Class of 1999, Northern Illinois University (1960-63)
• Billy Cannon: Hall of Fame Class of 2008, Louisiana State (1957-59) Heisman Trophy Winner (1959)
• Mike Golic: Notre Dame (1981-1984), ESPN Radio host and analyst
• Leroy Keyes: Hall of Fame Class of 1990, Purdue University (1966-68)
• George Koonce: East Carolina University (1988-1992), Super Bowl champion (1996)
• Jack Lengyel: Coach of Marshall University (1971-74)
• Fred Martinelli: Hall of Fame Class of 2002, coach of Ashland University (1959-93)
• Jesse Palmer: University of Florida (1997-2000), ESPN College studio host and analyst
• Johnny Rodgers: Hall of Fame Class of 2000, University of Nebraska (1970-72), Heisman Trophy winner (1972)
• Freddie Scott: Hall of Fame Class of 2001, Amherst (1971-73)
This year’s Enshrinement Festival will be held July 16-17 at the College Football Hall of Fame.
On Friday, the Enshrinement Downtown Block Party will feature the Ribs Cook-Off, cornhole tournament, live music and concluding with the Fireworks Spectacular set to light up the South Bend skyline. Saturday consists of the College Football Hall of Fame Grand Parade, FanFest and Pep Rally with the culminating event, the Enshrinement Dinner and Show.
Football fans of all ages are encouraged to see all that the College Football Hall of Fame has to offer.
