Andrews' student wins Fox 28's hunt Monday

Tuesday, May 6, 2008 11:09 AM EDT

Andrew Gibbs, of Niles, a ninth grade student at Andrews Academy in Berrien Springs, revealed the location Monday morning of the Fox 28's Fox Hunt.

Fox 28 was broadcasting live Monday at Howard's Performing Arts Center on the campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs. They were encouraging viewers to come in person to the site if you recognized the location. Andrew and his mother Kathy Gibbs were first to arrive. Andrew received a prize package of Cedar Point tickets, Silverhawks tickets, gift certificates to KFC, Dairy Queen, and Taco Bell, and other items that were unopened because he was late to school.

Andrew's big concern was being tardy, his mother said. He asked Fox 28 for a written excuse and received it.

The question is did Mr. White, principal, of the Academy accept the excuse?

He did.
