Cramer, Eger named top athletes

NILES - Lena Cramer of Niles and Torrie Eger of Buchanan have been named the Leader Publications Athletes of the Week.

Cramer shot 213 to help Niles finish 15th at the state golf finals last weekend at Eagle Crest at Eastern Michigan University.

Eger won her second Lakeland Conference girls' cross country individual championship in three years on Monday. She also helped the Lady Bucks win their third consecutive team title.
