All-MIAA women's soccer team announced

ROYAL OAK - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced its All-MIAA team in women's soccer for the 2008 season.

Hope College midfielder Allison Van Beek, a senior from Libertyville, Ill. (Libertyville HS), earned Most Valuable Player honors. Van Beek, a three-time all-MIAA first team selection, led the Flying Dutch in scoring this season with 12 goals and 26 points.
